It's no coincidence, that liberals and their allies in the media waited until just before the elections to expose Mark Foley's perversions. Knowing they can't win on the issues, the resort to typical liberal mudslinging. Also note the liberal hypocrisy -- Foley's lifestyle is exactly the kind of thing liberals actually encourage.

Keep in mind, once the Republican leadership learned about Foley, they look action. If liberals really cared, they would have exposed Foley years ago.
