What about Clinton?

It's amazing how the liberal media has put the blame for the Katrina aftermath on the Bush administration. It speaks volumes that no one has put any blame on Bill Clinton. After all, Bush is still working hard to undo the eight years of Clinton's mismanagement. I think we can all agree the reporting of Katrina just shows the media's liberal bias.

LOL. Only a right-wing wingnut would think 8 years of economic prosperity and peace are "mismanagment."

They may have overlooked Clinton's legacy because ... oh, I don't know ... he's been out of office for four years.

While Bush has been working hard to dismantle the country thousands of people died and were stranded without food, water or shelter on the Gulf Coast. No, wait ... he wasn't working hard, he was on a five-week vacation.

I think we can all agree that the blame has been properly assigned to the right people.

Sounds like you have one of those far left radicals that have to spew out instead of hitting NEXT BLOG!

Since I am commenting at a later date than your post, it is amazing how when the truth started coming out - then the new rhetoric changed to "lets stop blaming and focus on the victims"! Believe me if they could have pinned all the blame on Our Pres. their spin would still be turning full blast.

With so little words you truly said quite a bit. The other big issue (to me) that involves your post is the ignored terrorist that were leading up to killing us and how our security problem sunked to such a level that in 4 years it is hard to get our country air-tight on protection levels since our country was founded. I could continue ranting but I will not wasted your comment space.

Thanks for your post.

I was going to ignore this, but I can't help myself . . .

I'm pretty left of center, but I'll freely admit that there's all sorts of blame to go around in the Katrina debacle -- at the local, the state AND the federal level -- that applies to Democrats and Republicans.

I'm not a big Clinton fan; he, like ALL presidents, had their good and bad points. However, blaming Clinton for anything related to disasters is just silly; Clinton is the ONLY president who didn't treat the FEMA directorship as a partisan cookie. James Witt was the only FEMA director with disaster management experience in its history.

So please, True Conservative, tell us -- what did Clinton do to deserve blame here? Can you cite examples of this mismanagement? Or are you just parroting what Rush and Sean said on the radio yesterday?

As for Susie's comment -- what are you talking about? How can you blame Bill Clinton for this country's pourous borders when throughout our ENTIRE history we've had open borders? I'd also like to point out that our current president is completely ignoring the rampant illegal immigration problem down south.

Lord, this blame game and name calling -- from BOTH sides --just drives me batty.

Have a lovely evening.
