Ashcroft for Chief Justice

I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- when Renquist steps down, I think Bush should nominate John Ashcroft a Cheif Justice of the Supreme Court. Not only is he obviously the most qualified candidate for the position, but choosing him will upset all those loser liberals who have been using the judiciary to push their liberal agenda.

It's the birthday of Julius Caesar, born in Rome around 100 B.C., who said, "Beware the leader who bangs the drum of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor. For patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind."

Yet they seem to be able to spell "Chief" correctly when they write about the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

Anon 8:44 --- Is that the same phony quotation attributed by Shakespeare by Barbara Streisand, and thoroughly debunked long ago?
